After graduating from Make Up For Ever academy’s long course in Paris, I went on a journey to finding what spoke to me as an artist.
Thinking of how I could express my passion for art brought me to experiment with makeup. Whether it was with different textures or colors, makeup spoke to me from a very young age because of how it brought my art to life to tell it’s story.
In the future, I look forward to creating an image as a whole. To experiment more with my art by showing influences from my culture. Because as a south asian, I wish for other cultures to discover the beauty of our people. I wish to share parts of this way of life in my work because of how big of an impact it had on me growing up and still now in adulthood .
And in the life of an artist with something to say, it holds a weight that cannot be ignored.
